"Hiscox manager faces Greek perjury charge over extradition case"

In brief — in my words, not theirs

Reuters reported that a manager at the FTSE-listed insurer Hiscox — a Lloyd's of London specialist insurer, founded in 1901, domiciled in Bermuda and listed on the London Stock Exchange, with operations in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and Asia — faces a criminal perjury charge in Greece arising from sworn evidence given in the extradition proceedings brought against me — I was formerly the CFO of one of the company's subsidiaries. The article records that Greece refused the extradition request, and that the prosecutor who referred the perjury case to trial stated that I had not committed fraud. Under Greek law, the accused manager cannot be named in reporting.

The article also records the company's allegations against me and the civil judgment it obtained in Bermuda in 2018 — which I dispute — and the manager's denial of the charge.

The Reuters article is an independent, public account of a central fact of my case: the evidence that started everything is now itself the subject of criminal proceedings. Read it in full at the source.
